Florida golf resorts: even bogeys won’t bother you
Welcome to golf utopia. Indian River County is home to dozens of the best, most scenic golf courses in Florida. Lucky you: as a guest of Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, you’ll enjoy priority treatment and discounts to our favorite private and public courses when you book your tee time through our concierge.
The Club at Pointe West
Rising from an old citrus grove, The Club at Pointe West is a uniquely sculpted course with elevated tees, landing areas and greens. A water feature traverses the 18th fairway for an exciting finishing hole.
Golf course architect Jim Fazio designed Hawk’s Nest to fit the natural look of the land, making this one of the few “green courses” left in Florida. Long-needled pines and live oaks line the course rather than homes.
Vero Beach Country Club
Founded in 1924, this private club has a proud history and a 100-plus-acre golf course. Professional and amateur guests enjoy the character and natural beauty, with an interesting mix of attributes to challenge and please players of all abilities.
Sandridge Golf Club
Renowned as one of the finest public golf destinations in Florida, Sandridge offers two 18-hole layouts. The Dunes design course winds around an old ridge once used for mining. The Lakes course features one of the toughest holes in South Florida: the par-four 14th hole and its challenging island green.
